To start you must select the type of travel you're planning.

You will require your natural or host parents to sign your travel application depending on the type of travel.

You are only allowed to attend the planned trip if SISP approves your travel plans.

Deadlines for submission are:

DAY TRIPS:
Day trips on Saturday or Sunday: submit by midnight (11:59pm), Tuesday of the same week
 

OVERNIGHT TRIPS: 
Overnight trips starting on Saturday: by midnight (11:59pm) , Sunday of the week before. 

Day Trips

 

This form should be filled out by the student's host family

This Day Trip Application is required for any student travel outside of the Greater Victoria area that is not chaperoned by the student's host family.

You are only allowed to attend the planned trip if SISP approves your travel plans.

 

Deadlines for submission are:

  • DAY TRIPS: 3 school days before trip.
    Day trips on Friday (in case of no school): by midnight (00:00) on the Monday before.
    Day trips on Saturday or Sunday: by midnight (00:00) on the Tuesday before.

Overnight Trips

 

This form should be filled out by the student's natural parents.

This Overnight Trip Application is required for any student travel outside of the Greater Victoria area that is not chaperoned by the student's host family, and for all travel outside of the province of BC even if accompanied by the host family.

You are only allowed to attend the planned trip if SISP approves your travel plans.

Deadlines for submission are:

  • OVERNIGHT TRIPS: 5 school days before trip.
    Overnight trips starting on Friday:  by midnight (00:00) on Thursday the week before. 
    Overnight trips starting on Saturday:  by midnight (00:00) on Friday the week before 

Flight Travel

 

This form should be filled out by the student's natural parents.

  • This form is required for any student wishing to travel by plane.
  • This form must be submitted 5 school day prior to the date of departure.
  • The student must take full responsibility if any class time is missed (i.e. Communicate with teachers, make a plan to get caught up).

You are only allowed to attend the planned trip if SISP approves your travel plans.

Flight Departure

If you are staying overnight in Vancouver the day before your flight departs, please also fill out an overnight travel application.

Flight Return

If you are staying overnight in Vancouver the day your flight returns, please also fill out an overnight travel application.

Maximum 5 files.
15 MB limit.
Allowed types: pdf, gif, jpg, png, svg, txt.
If you are travelling by ferry you must return on or before the 7PM ferry.
If you are travelling by ferry you must return on or before the 7PM ferry.

I hereby certify I am the natural parent of the above-mentioned international student.
I hereby give my permission for my child to travel according to the above information. I understand this trip is not part of Saanich International Student Program and supervision during the trip is according to the information provided on this form. I hereby release and hold harmless Saanich International Student Program, its officers, employees and the host family of any liability or responsibility for my child during the duration of this trip.
